My least favorite day of the year. It is the shortest day, and with the overcast skies, it felt like the sun just waved briefly at us around noon before fleeing to someplace warmer.

I went to THE HOUSE this afternoon for a while. They have the floor down in the kitchen and since we had some extra left over, they did the second bathroom and will do the downstairs guest room as well. I think it looks nice, but I can't really tell since I had them cover everything up so that it wouldn't get scratched or scuffed while they are working.

Not much to say today. The cat and I have had a pretty low-key evening - I think this about sums it up:

Suki's evening
