Gary was on call last night, so while he did rounds this morning I went home and organized the garage. I picked him up around 8:30 and after we had coffee with Miss Suki - well, we had coffee, she just had belly petting - we headed out to the King of Prussia mall. We each bought a pair of shoes, I picked up some birthday cards and we traded in our Best Buy bucks to get a computer game and a couple of DVDs. We had lunch at California Cafe and headed back into the city. We had a quick stop at Trader Joe's for some supplies and then home.
I have to leave tomorrow - again. We have a marketing trip with new clients and we're doing Bermuda and London all in one week. It makes me tired just thinking about it. And the worst part - there's only one non-stop from Philly to Bermuda each day and it means I will get there around 1:00 p.m. local time. I am just hoping that the Eagles game will be televised there, as they are playing the Saints and it should be a great game.
So I will be gone until Friday night. Long trip. But hopefully when I get back I will have the following to look forward to:
- Gary
- Suki
- Being home
- A visit from Professor Trollop Stephani
- The Eagles being 5 and 1
- No more trips!
[Until the following week . . .]
