All of this is basketball jargon. Mmmm warned me the other day that March Madness is about to begin. That means that for weeks now there will be people on TV speaking in tongues (basketball). I have heard that there are some teams going to The Big Dance. I haven’t seen anything about what they are wearing so I am assuming it isn’t actually a dance.
The tournament evidently start out with lots of teams – 65 – and then they play each other. Haven’t they done that all year? I think they like to make cute names for the different groups: Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, Final Four. There are probably names for the 65 and the 32, but I don’t know what they are.
Mmmm likes college basket ball. I don’t mind, especially since we have another room and another TV in the house. Just don’t ask me to understand, watch, or play.
