Uh oh. Busted. David came into my office today and said he was reading my website this morning. "But I thought Connor [his son] was your boyfriend," he said.

"And when was the last time I got to see Connor?" I asked. "He doesn't call, he doesn't write, I don't think he loves me anymore."

OK, so Connor is only seventeen months old. I guess I can cut him some slack.

[Especially if he comes to see me this weekend, hint, hint.]

Got an e-mail from Mom on Aunt Anita's AOL address. They're in Bozeman with Anita and Bob and enjoyed both dinner and a little rain last night. I think they're heading to Billings today.

I went out to run a few errands this afternoon. It's over twenty degrees cooler here today than it was yesterday. Overcast, threatening clouds. It LOOKS cold outside, even though it's not. Seventy degrees just sounds cold after a few weeks of ninety plus.

Quote du jour:

"Weather is a great bluffer. I guess the same is true of our human society -- things can look dark, then a break shows in the clouds, and all is changed."

-- E. B. White (1899 - 1985) US humorist, essayist, novelist
