Completely improbable. And yet, the Philadelphia Eagles will be playing for the NFC Championship next week in Arizona. The sixth and final seed in the NFC this year, they went on the road and beat the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants. Gary and I are in Orlando for a medical conference and we watched the Eagles-Giants game at the ESPN Sports Center. It was awesome - and it was probably 75% Eagles fans, much to my surprise - we all sang the Eagles Fight Song several times - what fun!

[E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!!]

Yesterday we went to EPCOT during the day and then back again to the Paris Bistro for dinner. It was very nice, and we had lovely window seats to boot. Gary started with a grilled shrimp appetizer which was wonderful, and I had the escargots. For entrees, he had the venison (delicious) and I had the duck, which was also very tasty. Desserts were amazing - he had the warm chocolate cake and I ordered the trio of creme brulees. We got to watch he Illuminations fireworks display from our table - what a lovely evening.

[Yum.]
