What we have is a failure to communicate

Some time ago, before September 11, Kay informed me that her blog had been upgraded and that we needed to change just one or two things and everything would be fine. Nothing strikes fear in my heart, when I am at the computer like the words "upgrade." My computer runs Windows XP and I never intend to "upgrade" to Vista. I have heard too many horror stories.

Kay carefully walked me through what I had to do and even though everything looks as though I have done the right things, my blogs are not accepted. We went through everything again and still can't post a blog. Kay can but I can't. There is, evidently, to lift a phrase from the movie Cool Hand Luke, a failure to communicate.

Computers are so picky - everything must be just so and they won't give you a clue if you get it wrong. I suppose that is good if someone is trying to break into your computer but it is not only irritating but enraging if you can't do what you want to do with your own stuff.

When you read this you will know that the ever patient Ms Kay has rescued me once again and I am once again blogging.
